Amersham Bowls Club has a six rink green and is situated in the lovely surroundings of Hervines Park

Membership is open to anyone. The club has five qualified coaches who can assist anyone new to the game.

Open days are held each year followed by a four session coaching course.

Our green is open every day but closed for maintenance on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Organised Roll-ups
Every Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10.0 am - 12 noon

Visitors are welcome on payment of a green fee (currently £3 per session).

Competitions - there are a number of internal competitions for members during the season

League matches - the club plays in two leagues and competes in the Bucks Plate (men) and Burnham Plate (ladies) competitions.

Dress code - smart casual clothes may be worn for roll-ups and spoon drives. Club shirts are worn for all matches against other clubs with either white trousers/shorts/skirts for weekend matches or grey trousers/shorts/skirts for most others.

Social events - a variety of events including whist drives, bingo, etc. are held throughout the year. Social membership is available for those not able to play bowls (more details here).
