History

Amersham Bowls Club was founded in 1934 and moved to its present location in 1965

The present membership is about 85 but has been around 100 in recent years.

Our Green - a six rink green is maintained professionally but with voluntary help from members who cut the green and surrounds, clean ditches  etc. It is considered one of the best in the area.

Recent work - a few members have recently been working hard on the ditches and surrounds to ensure safety and to conform to Bowls England standards.

Paving slabs have been laid around the green making it more attractive as well as safe.

Improvements have been made to the club house and additional toilets are being installed.
